Thomas Moyer, Ph.D., Receives AACC Lifetime Achievement Award

The American Association for Clinical Chemistry has named Thomas Moyer, Ph.D., of Mayo Clinic's Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology, as the recipient of the 2012 Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine Award.

According to AACC, individuals selected for this award have made significant contributions in all aspects of clinical chemistry, particularly service, education and research; have achieved international stature and reputation by virtue of their efforts; and have demonstrated long standing service to the AACC, either at the grass roots, national and/or international levels. Dr. Moyer is a past-president of AACC and has previously won two AACC awards, the 2004 AACC Past-President's Award and the 1997 Outstanding Contributions through Service to the Profession of Clinical Chemistry.
