Jeffrey Winters, M.D., Receives the Lecturer Award from American Society for Apheresis

Jeffrey Winters, M.D., was presented with the American Society for Aphersis' (ASFA) Lecturer Award at the ASFA Annual Business Meeting Luncheon on May 24.

According to the ASFA website, the Lecturer Award of the American Society for Apheresis is bestowed upon a member of the Society who has consistently contributed to the Society as a speaker, teacher, or mentor.

Dr. Winters is the vice chair of Mayo Clinic's Division of Transfusion Medicine, as well as the director of the Therapeutic Apheresis Unit. He also serves as the director of the Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program and HCT/P Program. In addition, he is an associate professor for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
