Mayo Laboratory Inquiry Receives Awards from Contact Center World

Mayo Laboratory Inquiry (MLI), the customer service center for Mayo Medical Laboratories, recently received silver in the Best in Customer Service Award and honorable mention in the Best Contact Center award from Contact Center World. Contact Center World is the leading global support organization and association for the contact center industry around the world.

The Contact Center World awards include 15 different categories, including contact center design, technology and customer service excellence. More than 1,700 entries were received from 62 countries. Companies that participated included Mass Mutual, Affinion, Loyalty One, Delta Airlines, Accenture, Square Trade, IGH and OppenheimerFunds.

MLI applied for two awards, Best Contact Center Award and Best in Customer Service Award, which was an extensive process. It required answering more than 75 questions, providing documentation and evidence of processes and procedures, followed by a 15-minute presentation for each award, where key MLI practices and service differentiators were highlighted.
