MN Chapter of CLMA Receives 2015 Chapter of Distinction Award for Membership

mnclmaThe Minnesota Chapter of CLMA has won the 2015 Chapter of Distinction award for Membership. The chapter has also received an “honorable mention”  for success in Leadership & Administration, Executive Involvement, Education, Financial Management, and Communication.

Chapter of Distinction Awards are awarded at KnowledgeLab each year in order to reward chapters based on their performance in meeting and excelling at the previous year’s Chapter Success Standards.

Incorporated in 1986, the MN Chapter of CLMA is part of the North Central U.S. Division of CLMA International and represents the entire state of Minnesota with a very diverse membership that includes both rural and metropolitan settings.

The MN Chapter has a very active educational program and its goal is to provide membership value in the following ways:

  • Leadership & Management Skill Development Education
  • Leadership & Management Development Resources
  • Networking
  • Promote the Clinical Laboratory to our Communities

About CLMA
Founded in 1976, CLMA is an international association over 1,800 clinical laboratory professionals. CLMA provides support, resources, and advocacy in the clinical laboratory industry, supporting laboratory professionals as they take on leadership roles in their laboratories. CLMA educates and advocates on behalf of members and plays a leadership role in enhancing the image and increasing the visibility of the laboratory management profession.

Kelley Luedke is a Marketing Channel Manager at Mayo Clinic Laboratories. She is the principle editor and writer of Insights and leads social media and direct marketing strategy. Kelley has worked at Mayo Clinic since 2013. Outside of work, you can find Kelley running, traveling, playing with her kitty, and exploring new foods.
