Mayo Clinic Consultants Represented in AACC’s Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians
On the cover of the Clinical Chemistry February issue, Mayo Clinic consultants from the Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology Laboratory are represented among the many members of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry's (AACC) Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL) who have participated in the building of the Clinical Chemistry Trainee Council (CCTC).
The CCTC is an online, multilingual, free educational program for laboratory medicine trainees and their mentors. The approximately 10,000 subscribers have access to the educational materials published in Clinical Chemistry as well as the Pearls of Laboratory Medicine, which are approximately 15-minute peer-reviewed lectures about an analyte or a diagnosis, and Question Bank, which contains more than 2,300 peer-reviewed questions in all disciplines of laboratory medicine.
More than 100 SYCL members have participated in the building of this program. The pictures represented on the cover of the February issue are in recognition of members' efforts and commitments.
