PathWays Case Study: April 18
A 55-year-old woman with no significant medical history presented to the Emergency Department with abdominal pain, bloating, and loose stools. She is discharged to outpatient follow-up with a gastroenterologist. Colonscopy is completely normal, and random biopsies are taken from the entire colon to rule out microscopic colitis.
