PathWays Case Study: Aug. 22
A 35-year-old man suffered massive trauma in a motor vehicle accident approximately 15 years ago, including a degloving injury of his left torso with subsequent necrotizing soft tissue infection. Despite multiple skin graft revisions and debridements, a chronic sacral wound persisted over the ensuing years. He presented for an additional debridement procedure.
