A 47-year-old female presented with painless swelling of the right cheek for the past 6 months. On examination, the mass was located in the parotid gland, was firm and non-tender, and approximately 3cm in size. The patient underwent a right superficial parotidectomy the following month. Grossly, the tumor was poorly circumscribed, solid, tan-white, with areas of hemorrhage, and confined to the parotid gland.
