Submit Your Parasite Artwork for “Creepy, Dreadful, Wonderful Parasites”

Every week, Mayo Clinic microbiologist Bobbi Pritt, M.D., posts a new Parasite Wonders case to her “Creepy, Dreadful, Wonderful Parasites” blog, along with the answer to the previous case. Dr. Pritt is excited to announce she will post her 500th case on July 2. To celebrate, she would like to recognize the creativity of her readers by displaying a photograph of their parasite-related artwork on her blog. She will then put the names of all of the individuals who submitted a photo of their art in a hat and pick three names to receive a special "parasite prize."

If you would like to submit a photo, send Dr. Pritt your pic at b_pritt@yahoo.com.

Dr. Pritt started her blog after she completed her fellowship at Mayo Clinic in clinical microbiology. She attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to study parasitology for one year. During that year in England, Dr. Pritt saw some amazing cases, which she shared with her colleagues back at Mayo through her blog. Through word of mouth, people from all walks of life around the globe have become interested in Dr. Pritt’s “case of the week,” and her readership continues to grow.
