In this month’s “Virtual Lecture,” Henry Tazelaar, M.D., breaks down the various risks of environmental lung cancer, from those present in medieval and renaissance times, to modern dangers. This presentation also covers the current World Health Organization (WHO) classification for lung adenocarcinoma.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • List two environmental causes of lung cancer.
  • Differentiate the current WHO classification for lung adenocarcinoma from previous classifications.
  • Recall how to report lung cancer in accordance with AJCC 8th edition.
