Learning objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define the burden of alcohol use disorders (AUD) on society compared to other neuropsychiatric disorders.
  • Review progress of biomarker discovery for AUD by the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Treatment of Alcoholism (CITA).
  • Discuss the relevance of these discoveries in support of CIM’s priorities to promote high-definition therapeutics and practice ownership in the treatment of AUD.
