Joseph Grande, M.D., Ph.D., Receives 2018 Teacher of Year Award

Joseph Grande, M.D., Ph.D., was recently awarded the 2018 Teacher of the Year Award for basic science education from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. Medical students choose this award to recognize outstanding contributions to undergraduate medical education.

Dr. Grande is a Consultant in the Division of Anatomic Pathology with a joint appointment in the Department of Nephrology. He holds the academic rank of Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

April Josselyn is a Marketing Channel Manager at Mayo Clinic Laboratories. She has worked at Mayo Clinic since 2012. Outside of work, April enjoys the outdoors and being "hockey mom" for her two sports-crazed boys.
