New tests launched in July


New Tests

In July 2021, Mayo Clinic Laboratories announced three new tests along with numerous reference value changes, obsolete tests, and algorithm changes.

The new tests that launched in July 2021 by Mayo Clinic Laboratories:

PTRIP | Prostate Triple (P63/KRT/P504S), Technical Component Only

This test is intended for use as an aid in identifying high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and prostate cancer.

P504S | Immunostain, Technical Component Only

This test is intended for use of characterization of renal cell carcinoma and the identification of high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and prostate carcinoma.

SSX18 | Synovial Sarcoma Panel, Technical Component Only

This test is intended for aiding in distinguishing synovial sarcomas from similar sarcomas.
