Overview

This webinar will provide a methodology for laboratory leadership to review their test menu for assays that most impact the financial health of their laboratory. Additionally, the presentation will provide tools and techniques to discover opportunities to improve the health of those assays. The primary focus of the review will be on direct expenses the lab has the most control over: labor, supplies, and equipment.

  • Describe techniques used to identify which assays have the largest impact on the financial health of the laboratory.
  • Demonstrate skills used to identify opportunities for waste/cost improvements related to expenses within the lab's control.
  • Develop a roadmap to implement the improvements.
