Mayo Clinic Laboratories has made an important update to the CPT code communication process to bring clients timely notifications for accurate billing information. 

Mayo Clinic Laboratories will send updates via email as changes are released. This will provide effective dates for planned changes and real-time updates for immediate changes. The refreshed CPT Code Updates and Test Classification Updates web pages will continue to provide historical changes and real-time updates for existing tests.

LOINC Updates

Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC^®) is clinical terminology that is important for laboratory test orders and results, and is one of a suite of designated standards for use in U.S. federal government systems for the electronic exchange of clinical health information.

Mayo Clinic Laboratories systematically assigns LOINC values to its assays, as provided in the following spreadsheet.
