Winter Storm Cora

Operational Update

Updated January 8, 2025

Domestic clients

Due to a pending winter storm affecting the FedEx hub in Memphis, Tennessee, and the UPS hub in Louisville, Kentucky, the Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ Global Logistics team will be diverting work from those carriers to other commercial shipping options, such as Delta Cargo.

We understand that these options are not available in all market areas. If other options are not available in your area, your route will be canceled, and we will ask you to hold any samples at your location. You will be notified via Message Center or a phone call if your route is canceled.

Due to Delta Cargo restrictions, Category A samples cannot be shipped at this time.

Clients that ship on their own should not ship via UPS or FedEx.
