Join us for a virtual phlebotomy workshop

Mayo Clinic Laboratories Education is pleased to announce its first-ever virtual phlebotomy workshop. This two-hour online event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Phlebotomists play a critical role in shaping a patient’s experience — from the first interaction to the last reassuring word. The HOPE Experience Essentials: Creating Moments That Matter program is designed to inspire and empower phlebotomy professionals to create meaningful connections, enhance service excellence, and reinforce the values that shape exceptional patient experiences. Through interactive discussions, storytelling, and reflective practices, participants will explore how their actions contribute to a culture of hope, trust, and compassionate care.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss actionable steps for service excellence.
  2. Explore and understand patients’ interpretations of their healthcare experience in relation to hope, as revealed through their feedback and personal stories.
  3. Practice perspective-taking and reflective listening to enhance communication and connection.

There is a $50 nonrefundable registration fee. Participants in this workshop are eligible for ASCLS P.A.C.E.® and State of Florida credit.
