Answers From the Lab podcast delivers more insights in new format
Yesterday, we premiered the refreshed format of Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ “Answers From the Lab” podcast — and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. I’ve been involved with this podcast since we launched it over five years ago, and this new approach allows us to deliver even more valuable insights to our listeners.
Hosted by Bobbi Pritt, M.D., a clinical microbiologist and chair of Mayo Clinic’s Division of Clinical Microbiology, each episode now begins with a brief overview of timely topics, followed by a new segment called the deep dive. In this segment, we feature expert voices who explore emerging technologies, trends, and topics that are shaping the present and future of laboratory medicine. We wrap up each episode with a short reflection on key takeaways and curated resources for those who want to dig deeper.
Our goal with “Answers From the Lab” has always been to equip lab professionals with the information and insights they need to confidently manage their labs, prepare for the future, and serve as thought leaders within their organizations and communities.
This new format supports this mission and opens the door to a broader range of expert perspectives.
Our first episode in this new format features Paul Jannetto, Ph.D., discussing therapeutic testing in the deep dive. You can listen on our website or your favorite podcast streaming platform. I encourage you to subscribe so you never miss an episode.
We’re excited to share this new approach and hope you find it valuable. If there’s a topic you’d like us to explore in a future episode, send us a message at mayocliniclabs@mayo.edu. Dr. Pritt and I look forward to continuing to connect and learn with you through “Answers From the Lab.”
