Operational Update

For all clients in the Middle East region
Mayo Clinic Laboratories continues to closely monitor shipping logistics in the Middle East. Please note our current recommendations:
- Clients in UAE and Saudi Arabia: Shipping services are reopening. Please work with your local courier to coordinate pick-ups.
- Clients in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman: Continue to hold specimens at your site until further notice.
- All clients: We will continue to assess shipments of supplies and send as options are available. Anatomic Pathology and blocks and slides returns will continue to be held at this time.

For clients in Saudi Arabia
Mayo Clinic Laboratories continues to closely monitor shipments en route. As flights continue to be unpredictable, we recommend you hold all samples at your site until further notice.
You will be contacted directly if there are sample returns, delays, or cancelations to existing shipments en route. Please know that we will continue to assess the situation and share updates as more information becomes available.

Mayo Clinic Laboratories continues to closely monitor shipments en route. On Wednesday, March 4, samples will be picked up from your site.
Due to the unpredictability of flights at this time, please know that we will continue to assess the situation and share an update on Wednesday, March 4.

Due to the current situation affecting the region, with airport and airspace closures, Mayo Clinic Laboratories is closely monitoring shipments en route. Based on the outcome of these shipments, we will provide further direction.
During this time, Mayo Clinic Laboratories will also temporarily pause all supply shipments, as well as anatomic pathology blocks and slides. These decisions were made thoughtfully, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of your materials and minimizing disruptions.
