Overview

This webinar will explore quality in the artificial intelligence (AI) era, and how strong quality foundations are essential for safe, reliable and scalable AI and automation.

Presenters Luke Ramlow and Darshi Bassi emphasize a central message: technology doesn’t create quality — it scales what already exists. Strong processes accelerate value; weak processes accelerate risk. The session traces the evolution of quality from inspection-based approaches to where quality is designed into intelligent, human-centered systems focused on resilience, sustainability, and well-being.

Key takeaways include the importance of high-quality data, process standardization, clear roles, and documentation before introducing automation, along with continuous monitoring and improvement using methods like PDSA, root-cause analysis, FMEA, and standard work.
