Learning objectives
Upon completion of the conference, participants should be able to:
- Identify and resolve common diagnostic dilemmas.
- Interpret appropriate ancillary tests for study cases.
- Enumerate treatment options for each case diagnosis.
- Integrate diagnostic, clinical, and pathologic challenges within pathologist/clinician communication.

The registration fee includes tuition, conference syllabus (provided within a conference app/accessible online), break refreshments, lunch (excluding Friday), and symposium dinner. Although it is not the policy of the Mayo Clinic Laboratories Education Department to limit the number of participants, conference room facilities may necessitate closing of enrollment; therefore, early registration is strongly advised. The night will start with a welcome beverage, followed by dinner and local entertainment. Registration for this dinner is limited, so early registration is advised.
Tours
In conjunction with the 25th International Surgical Pathology Symposium, guided tours have been arranged for attendees and their guests before and during the conference. The tour arrangement and expenses are in addition to the conference registration and managed by Weichlein. - The prices per night are per room, per night, including service charge and current statutory VAT, but exclusive of municipal additional levies/taxes.
- Note: Breakfast will only be provided to guests of the DoubleTree via their guest room rate. The special rate inclusive of breakfast applies only to bookings made directly to the DoubleTree via the booking link and may not be valid through third-party bookings.
- Note: DoubleTree Cancellation Fee — Guests can cancel, reduce, or modify their reservations up to 14 days prior to arrival. In case of no-show or later cancellation, the booked rooms will be charged to the guest at 90% of the agreed room rate per night. Cancellation policy
If you cancel your participation in this conference on or before Friday, March 27, 2026, your registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee, will be refunded. The Mayo Clinic Laboratories Education Department must receive written notification of your cancellation. No refunds will be made after Friday, March 27, 2026.
Mayo Clinic Laboratories reserves the right to cancel or postpone any conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event Mayo Clinic Laboratories must cancel or postpone this conference, Mayo Clinic Laboratories will refund the registration fee, but it is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.
