- FedEx: Service will be limited on Friday, July 3, and closed on Saturday, July 4. If there is a delay, shipments sent on Thursday, July 2, may not arrive until Monday, July 6. Shipments sent on Friday, July 3, will not arrive until Monday, July 6.
- UPS: Service will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Shipments sent on Friday, July 3, will not arrive until Monday, July 6.
- Carrier delays are possible. To reduce risk to the specimens, Mayo Clinic Laboratories Global Logistics team will convert eligible courier-route shipments to Delta, where available, for shipments normally sent by FedEx on Thursday, July 2, or by FedEx or UPS on Friday, July 3.
- If you arrange your own shipping by UPS or FedEx, add extra frozen cool packs for refrigerated shipments and enough dry ice to support the longer transit time.
