Chromosomal microarray (CMA) testing provides genetic analysis for a large number of serious genetic disorders and has applications in hereditary genetics and oncology. By analyzing both copy number and SNP probes, we can assess deletions and duplications across the genome, determine their precise breakpoints and gene content, and detect regions of homozygosity. CMA testing generates large amounts of complex data that require a high level of expertise to accurately assess and classify.
