Learning Modules

Mayo Clinic Laboratories Education is pleased to announce the release of its third Phlebotomy Module on “Phlebotomy Techniques.” This will be the third of a series of six modules to be released by the MCL Education team over time. The building of these modules is a joint effort with the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic.

In this Phlebotomy Module, learners will be informed about safety. Bloodborne pathogens, PPE, and infection prevention control will be discussed.

Mayo Clinic Laboratories Education is pleased to announce the release of its first of six phlebotomy modules, “Fundamentals of Phlebotomy.”

PACE/State of CA/State of FL - In this "Phlebotomy Module," learners will be introduced to medical terminology, learning many of the terms they are likely to encounter in a health care setting. Additionally, information related to collection devices, types of equipment, and the situations to use them in will be discussed.

PACE/State of CA/State of FL - The fourth module of the Laboratory Quality Academy (LQA) Program is now available.
