Our pathology section at Mayo Clinic represents the largest group of pulmonary pathologists in the country. We see a broad range of neoplastic and non-neoplastic thoracic cases and have access to additional testing for an in-depth workup of cases, including predictive markers for lung cancer and molecular testing.

Mayo Clinic is the first center accredited by the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation for the diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesia, a rare and debilitating lung disease. Read more about how our electron microscopy testing and expert pathologist interpretation aid in the diagnosis of this disease.
