Phlebotomy modules
Education through interactive learning
These interactive learning modules encompass many of the necessary skills to further develop your knowledge and skills on your journey as a phlebotomist. Information related to collection devices, order of draw, the patient experience, and phlebotomy terminology will be shared. Additionally, safety, specimen integrity and processing, advanced collections, and difficult collections and special populations will be reviewed.
This program will include a total of six modules, each eligible for ASCLS P.A.C.E.® and State of Florida credit. In addition to credit, virtual badges will be awarded upon completion of each module. Each virtual badge recognizes and validates the learner’s successful completion of Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ phlebotomy modules. Once you have obtained all six badges, you will be able to submit them to redeem an overarching certificate of completion. While this does not serve as phlebotomy licensure certification, it does show evidence of the learner’s commitment to furthering their knowledge and skills on their journey as a phlebotomist.
