This module will include safety measures that should be followed in phlebotomy, with the goal of furthering your knowledge and skills on your journey as a phlebotomist. A general introduction to safety precautions will be given, which will help ensure the well-being of you and your patient.

  • Demonstrate proper hand hygiene using hand sanitizer and proper hand washing techniques.
  • Define the links in the chain of transmission.
