The MCSHS is awarding full tuition scholarships for students accepted into the October cohort. Application deadline is Wednesday, September 6. Phlebotomy technicians work with other professionals in hospital and outpatient environments to collect and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing as part of the patient-care team. Phlebotomists have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages. Many technicians expand their skill sets over time and take those talents with them into other careers at Mayo such as nursing.
