Clinical Genome Sequencing Laboratory Team Members Recognized at AMP Annual Meeting

Congratulations to Joseph (Joe) Blommel, Clinical Genome Sequencing Laboratory (CGSL) Development Technologist, for receiving the 2017 Technologist Poster Award at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Annual Meeting held November 16–18 in Salt Lake City.

Blommel was one of three award recipients recognized by AMP for the best abstracts submitted by technologists who are AMP members. Blommel’s poster was titled "Clinical Impact of Characterizing Genomic Alterations Using Whole-Genome Mate-Pair Sequencing."
