Overview
The 22nd International Surgical Pathology Symposium addresses unique challenges and problems encountered in today’s practice. Participants will review case histories, examine images by virtual microscopy, and formulate diagnoses. The unique subtleties and differentiating characteristics of each diagnosis will be highlighted. Participants will also discuss the patient management strategy used in each case. During the four-day conference, 37 cases will be presented and discussed. Three to four specialty areas will be featured each day to include: Head & Neck Pathology Bone & Soft Tissue Pathology Breast Pathology Cytopathology Dermatopathology Endocrine Pathology Gastrointestinal Pathology Gynecologic Pathology Infectious Disease Liver Pathology Prostate Pathology And important surgical pathology practice issues and concernsIntended Audience
This course is designed for practicing surgical pathologists. Other medical laboratory scientists or physicians interested in enhancing their delivery of care may also benefit from this program.Conference Objectives

- Interpret appropriate ancillary tests for study cases.
- Enumerate treatment options of each case diagnosis.

Physicians/Scientists – $1100 Residents/Fellows/Allied Health – $950 The registration fee includes tuition, conference syllabus (provided within a conference app/accessible online), break refreshments, daily lunch, and reception. Conference Dinner – Tuesday, September 25, 7 p.m.
Participants and a guest are cordially invited to join the conference faculty for the Conference Dinner to be held Tuesday, September 25 at Sale Del Ridotto of Palazzo Dandolo. Located in the heart of Venice and dating back to the 1500s, this palace has had a multitude of purposes including a home, casino, magistrate offices, a warehouse, and currently the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal (formerly, the Palazzetto Vallaresso Erizzo). Extensive restorations have defined the beauty of the building’s architecture and it provides an ideal atmosphere for dinners/receptions. Preregistration is required.Tours and Trips
