Ryan Robetorye, M.D., Ph.D., Appointed Director of Arizona Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology

Ryan Robetorye, M.D., Ph.D., has been appointed as the new Director of Laboratories for the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, effective Friday, April 13. Dr. Robetorye succeeds James Hernandez, M.D., as the laboratory director at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona, Mayo Clinic Building─Phoenix, Mayo Clinic Building─Scottsdale, and Mayo Clinic Specialty Building.

Dr. Robetorye held laboratory director positions at Mayo Clinic’s primary care sites on the Phoenix campus and in San Tan, Arizona. He is also Co-Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory on the Scottsdale campus.

Dr. Hernandez served as laboratory director since October 2008. He will assist Dr. Robetorye during his transition and remain Co-Director of Point-of-Care Testing and Processing and Phlebotomy until his retirement.

April Josselyn is a Marketing Channel Manager at Mayo Clinic Laboratories. She has worked at Mayo Clinic since 2012. Outside of work, April enjoys the outdoors and being "hockey mom" for her two sports-crazed boys.
