Celebrating Art in Pathology

On Friday, May 18, the Division of Anatomic Pathology hosted its eighth annual Art in Pathology event. This year, there were 41 masterpieces submitted. This is certainly a case of “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

A special thank you to the judges Loren Herrera Hernandez, M.D.; Jennifer Boland Froemming, M.D.; and Jorge Torres-Mora, M.D., for selecting this year’s winners.

1st Place: “A Lovely Hermaphrodite” by Bobbi Pritt, M.D.

2nd Place: “Rough Seas Ahead” by Matt Woge, M.D.

3rd Place: “Stained Glass” by Heidi Lehrke, D.O.

The People’s Choice Award went to Melanie Bois, M.D., for “Into the Wild.”
