Manish Gandhi, M.D., Appointed Vice Chair of CAP Committee

Manish Gandhi, M.D.

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) Board of Governors has selected Manish Gandhi, M.D., as the Vice Chair of the CAP Histocompatibility and Identity Testing Committee. Dr. Gandhi will specifically work to define and monitor emerging technologies in histocompatibility and identity testing; contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of effective proficiency testing programs; and provide expertise in the field.

About Dr. Gandhi
Dr. Gandhi is a Consultant in the Division of Transfusion Medicine and Laboratory Director of the Histocompatibility Laboratory at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.

Dr. Gandhi obtained his medical training from the T. N. Medical College in Mumbai. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology from the Seth G. S. Medical College also located in Mumbai. Dr. Gandhi is board-certified in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine having finished his training at the University of Washington in Seattle and at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Ghandi is also certified as a Histocompatibility Laboratory Director from the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.

Suzanne Ferguson is a Marketing Channel Manager at Mayo Clinic Laboratories and has worked at Mayo Clinic since 2014. Outside of work, Suzanne can be found traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
