On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, several changes will be made to the information displayed on the Mayo Clinic Laboratories online test catalog. These changes will improve accuracy and clarity of important information regarding test performance.

Changes include:

• In the Performance tab, “Analytic Time” and “Maximum Laboratory Time” will be removed. The new field “Report Available” will show the range of time it may take to process and test the specimen, starting when the specimen is received in the performing laboratory and ending when the result is available.

• In the Performance tab, “Day(s) and Time(s) Test Performed” will be adjusted and “Day(s) Performed” will be listed.

• In the Specimen tab, the title of the “Advisory Information” field will be changed to “Ordering Guidance.” The content in this field will remain the same.

These changes will also be reflected in the joint test catalogs.
