Due to hurricane Ian, Mayo Clinic Laboratories' specimen pickup and delivery schedules will be altered. To ensure that your specimen vitality and turnaround times are not affected, plan ahead and note:

As Hurricane Ian approaches Florida, the Mayo Clinic Laboratories Florida location will close on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. EST, as a safety precaution. The location will remain closed through Sunday, Oct. 2.

During this time, Mayo Clinic Laboratories will divert any client specimens to Rochester, Minnesota, and clients do not need to take any action on their end. The test turnaround time should not be impacted.

Updates will be provided as necessary.
