The FedEx hub in Memphis, TN is resuming normal operations. Mayo Clinic Laboratories is returning to standard shipping processes. Any exceptions will be contacted directly.

The FedEx hub in Memphis, TN is expected to resume normal operations. Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ Global Logistics team is using commercial carriers as needed. You will be contacted directly if there are cancelations to your specific route. 

Due to commercial shipping restrictions, Category A samples cannot be shipped

Mayo Clinic Laboratories continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed.

Due to weather continuing to affect the FedEx hub in Memphis, TN, Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ Global Logistics team is proactively moving work from FedEx to other commercial shipping options.

Commercial carriers will be used as much as possible to divert work away from FedEx. We understand that commercial shipping options are not available in all markets, which could require you to hold samples. You will be contacted separately if you are affected. 

Due to commercial shipping restrictions outside of FedEx, Category A samples cannot be shipped.

Mayo Clinic Laboratories will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates.

Due to weather affecting the FedEx hub in Memphis, TN, FedEx has initiated its contingency plan and expects delays. Mayo Clinic Laboratories’ Global Logistics team will proactivelymove work from FedEx to other commercial shipping options.
