Roshini Abraham, Ph.D., Elected President of Clinical Immunology Society

Roshini Abraham, Ph.D., Consultant in the Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, has been elected to serve a two-year term as President of the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS).

About Dr. Roshini Abraham
Dr. Abraham is a Consultant in the Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology. She holds the rank of Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and Professor of Medicine from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Abraham is Co-Director of the Cellular and Molecular Immunology Laboratory and has been on staff at Mayo Clinic since 2002 (first, in the Division of Hematology, Department of Medicine, and then in 2005, the Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology, DLMP). She has been a member of CIS since 2005 and served as an elected councilor from 2013–2016.

About the Clinical Immunology Society
Since the society’s inception in 1986, its mission has been to facilitate education, translational research, and novel approaches to therapy in clinical immunology to promote excellence in the care of patients with primary immunodeficiencies and immune dysregulation diseases. The organization is devoted to fostering developments in the science and practice of clinical immunology.
