Case 3 Image 50-year-old man with neck mass.
Case 4 Image 50-year-old man with sinonasal mass.
Case 5 Image 15 year old male with tumor of the diaphysis of the right femur.
Case 6 Image 65 year old female with long standing primary sclerosing cholangitis.
Case 7 Image A 38-year-old woman presented to her local physician with hematochezia. A lower GI endoscopy was performed and an ascending colon mass was discovered. The mass was biopsied and diagnosed as an invasive colonic adenocarcinoma. She was referred for further treatment.
Case 8A Image A 28-year-old woman with no prior medical history presented to the emergency department with right lower quadrant abdominal pain. There was a clinical concern for acute appendicitis and so a CT-scan was performed. On the scan a 7.8cm mass in the right lobe of the liver was identified. The mass was resected. A representative section is shown.
Case 8B Image A 23-year-old man presented to his primary care physician with gynecomastia. Abdominal imaging revealed a 17cm mass in the right lobe of the liver with enlarged porta lymph nodes. A needle biopsy was taken and is shown.
Case 9A Image 55-year-old woman with pulmonary adenocarcinoma metastatic to mediastinal lymph nodes. “Molecular testing” is requested. Shown is a bronchial biopsy. Touch preps were also performed.
Case 9B1 Image
Case 9B2 Image
78-year-old man with history of left thigh melanoma metastatic to inguinal sentinel lymph nodes elsewhere. His oncologist requests biopsy of progressive disease in the inguinal lymph nodes for “molecular testing”. Shown are tissue cores and FNA smear.
Case 10A1 Image
Case 10A2 Image
60-year-old woman with endometrial cancer. Universal screening for Lynch syndrome was carried out using mismatch repair immunohistochemistry only. Shown are the H&E and MSH6 stains.
Case 10B1 Image
Case 10B2 Image
27-year-old woman. Missed abortion. Shown are H&E and p57 stains.

Case 19 Image 48 year old previously healthy man presents with cervical lymphadenopathy.
Case 20 Image 72-year-old retired nurse presented to her PMD with complaints of night sweats for several months and recent onset of headaches associated with dizziness.
Case 21 Image The patient is a 76 year old man with a history of multiple myeloma and prostate cancer. A CT scan of the chest revealed the presence of enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes concerning for metastatic disease.
The slide represents a Diff-Quik stained smear prepared during an on-site assessment during an endobronchial ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration of a subcarinal lymph node.
