September 2018 — Anatomic Pathology 3

A 34-year-old woman noticed a lump in her right breast in December 2017. By ultrasound, a 2.4 cm, well-circumscribed hypoechoic mass was seen. By MRI, a possible fibroadenoma. After a subsequent biopsy, a mastectomy was performed. See figures below:
