Updates

April 11, 2024

Users will be able to inactivate a rule that contains an obsolete Test ID. If the rule is inadvertently inactivated, the user will be able to activate the rule, but will be unable to save any other changes without changing the Test ID.

When testing a rule, users will be unable to export more than 4,000 orders to a CSV file. If more than 4,000 orders are displayed, the Export to CSV link is disabled and a message will appear.

Users who have access to generic orderable (GO) or formatted text (FT) tests now can use a new Conditions feature. This feature enables users to create rules for sending emails whenever a GO or FT test result becomes available. Upon selecting this option, a notification email will be automatically sent whenever either a GO or FT result is accessible. Additionally, users have the flexibility to include supplementary conditions according to their preferences.

Enable search for rule conditions on NOTIFICATION RULES landing page

In addition to searching the Name, Rule ID, and Modified By fields, users can now use the Global Filter search field to search for values within rules. For example, if they enter a Test ID such as "GUIN" in the Global Filter search field, any rules that contain GUIN for the Test ID will display in the search results. If they enter "strange" in the Global Filter search field, any rules that contain "strange" for patient name or physician name will display in the search results.

Enable multiple-account selection on the NOTIFICATION RULES landing page

On the NOTIFICATION RULES landing page, users will be able to select multiple account numbers to which they have access. Rules for all selected accounts will be displayed and the Account Number column is sortable.

Clicking the link in the email prompts you to sign in and then displays the rule containing the obsolete Test ID:

You can then clone the rule to receive notification emails when results are available for the replacement Test ID.

The enhanced user interface enables more complex rules for Notifications. With this user interface, you can define rules that send email notifications for multiple conditions. For example, you can send email notifications when results are available for either Test ID CAT or Test ID DOGD ordered by either Dr. Who or Dr. Bones.
